Serving West Marin Since 1976
West Marin Senior Services was founded to provide in-home supportive services to the rural elderly over age 60. Our purpose is to enable older persons to remain independent as long as possible and to live with dignity and self-respect in their own homes. Our program seeks to prevent premature or unnecessary institutionalization.

Most people want to stay in their own homes as they grow older - to be in familiar surroundings near family and friends. The elderly live healthier and happier lives when they are able to remain an active part of their community.

A comprehensive home care team can maintain frail elderly, disabled and even gravely ill people in their own homes at a fraction of the cost of institutional care, with the obvious comfort and humane advantages for both the patient and the family.
